Moonraker orbits The Camper Shak
This 1980s Bay window camper was given a complete make-over using the services of the Camper Shak design team. The first stage was to strip out the existing furniture and make good the floorway ready for the re-fit.............

Using their fridge as a buddy seat for meal times, everything was falling into place. All interior panels were insulated and new custom made door and panel cards were fitted. These were trimmed with a carpet design that would harmonize with the existing roof trim.
The same trim was used to cover the rear of the seat frames, and rock n roll bed, making the whole interior flow.
Next a brand new Camper Shak interior was fitted to the customers design specification. Because this customer wanted to accomodate their existing gas, mains & 12v fridge, we re-used the fridge allowance space under the spinflow sink.
In here we were able to fit their gas, large water bottle and whale foot pump hidden neatly behind matching curtain trim.
And to complete the picture a colour coded flooring was fitted and textured navy blue fabric was chosen to contrast against the Sandy Birch wood finish.
A new 750mm x 600mm matching table top was fitted to offer real space at meal times.
Im sure you will agree that when comparing the images from the old camper set up, the Camper Shak treatment has certainly lifted the interior and converted it into a pleasant living space.
Well with the work complete the customer was eager to try out their drive-a-way awning.
Well this Devon Moonraker has now left The Camper Shak, and is destined for many great trips up and down the country.
